Lumina Gold Selects Plenge Laboratories for Cangrejos Gold-Copper Project Feasibility Study
Lumina Gold Corp. (TSXV: LUM) (OTCQB: LMGDF) has announced the appointment of a team of consultants to lead the Feasibility Study for their Cangrejos Gold-Copper Project located in southwest Ecuador. Plenge Laboratories will be a key member of this team, contributing its expertise in metallurgical testing and analysis.
Ausenco Engineering Canada ULC will act as the lead consultant for the study, which is expected to be completed in the first half of 2025. Lumina Gold has assembled a comprehensive team of experts to support the Feasibility Study, including specialists in resource estimation, metallurgy, mining engineering, and economics. Many of these team members have been involved in the Cangrejos project since the initial Preliminary Economic Assessment (PEA) released in 2018.
The Feasibility Study will build upon the data and findings from previous studies, providing a more detailed assessment of the project's technical and economic viability. The study will evaluate various mining and processing options, develop a mine plan, and estimate project costs.
Lumina Gold is confident that the Cangrejos Gold-Copper Project has the potential to be a significant contributor to the Ecuadorian economy. The company is committed to advancing the project responsibly and in collaboration with local communities.
